David Kuczynski, like many other artists, has been interested in art since early childhood.

He attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago for four years; where under the guidance of Joseph Vanden Broucke, Douglas Graves, Salvatore Salla, and Gene Register; he won the Mosby scholarship award.

Painting primarily in oils for most of his career, he enjoys occasionally working in acrylic, pastel and charcoal. His work resides in private and corporate collections here and abroad, as well as in educational facilities and in the collections of other artists.

Although David has won many awards for his work, which has also been published and displayed on television several times over the years, he derives the most satisfaction from the fact that ninety-seven percent of everything he painted has sold. In his words, "When someone enjoys my expressions enough to dig into their pockets, it is the ultimate compliment."
